SU Brescia 2024: Sports & Hiking in Northern Italy
AEGEE-Brescia organizes another edition of its “Brixtreme” Summer University. For nature lovers it’s the perfect event. The event takes place from 24 July to 3 August 2024. Michelangelo Paiardi answered the questions on behalf of AEGEE-Brescia.
GT: What is the main topic of your SU this year?
AEGEE-Brescia: For our SU the main topic is sports and hiking! Expect lots of challenging activities and to explore new terrific places!
GT: Why did you choose the topic?
AEGEE-Brescia: We chose this topic because it is the best way to get to know our vast province, from lakes to mountains.
GT: What will be the thematic highlights?
AEGEE-Brescia: The Summer University in Brescia will be a 360 degree discovery of the territory, with days spent in the city, at the lakes and in the mountains. We will talk and discuss about environment and mountain preservation in wonderful locations at Iseo lake and in the Alps.
GT: Which cities and landmarks will you visit?
AEGEE-Brescia: We will be visiting the city of Brescia, Manerba del Garda (rocca) and Mortirolo peak.
GT: What else will you do for fun?
AEGEE-Brescia: We will do goddamn everything in our power to have the most fun we can!
GT: How much is the fee and what is included in it?
AEGEE-Brescia: The fee is 190 Euros. It includes accommodations, activities and two meals per day – breakfast and dinner.

AEGEE-Brescia: The optional fee is 40 Euros and includes the rope park and clubbing.
GT: Who is the ideal participant?
AEGEE-Brescia: The ideal participant is a person with a lot of spare energy, loves outdoor activities and extreme adventures.
GT: What makes AEGEE-Brescia special?
AEGEE-Brescia: I’d like to only say Pirlo Aperol, but they are forcing me to write also about our magnificent hospitality.
